My name is Ashley!

Hi Everyone! No that is not a Chincoteague pony in my photo, but he is my Majestic Unicorn, Mojo. Horses had always been my life growing up! So of course I read Misty as a young child and dreamed of being able to go to Chincoteague. In 2007 my parents took my younger brother and I on my favorite childhood vacadtion, not for pony penning, but it was still everything I imagined and more! I unfortunately was unable to return to the island until 2012 when my best friend and I stumbled onto the fact that it was only a half hour away from our campsite in Pocomoke! But between going to college and working, I did not get to go back to the island until 2017 when I needed a break from planning my wedding. My husband Kyle, fell in love immediately with the island and said we would be coming back! However between the wedding and finding out we were going to be blessed with a little human, we did not get back until September of 2018, our son, Brantley being only 3 months old and then from then on we've been going multiple times a year! We experienced our first pony penning in 2019 and we were blown away!

Photography has always been a hobby of mine. Of course taking pictures of my horse and friend's horses, and other animals were always my favorite subjects, but I've done family portraits as well as a few weddings! Chincoteague Ponies have become my favorite wild subjects to take photos of! Whether I'm hiking miles upon miles to see them, or cruising on a boat, they are always wonderful to see!
